Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical/electronics field.
• Associates degree from vocational school or college with focus in Mechanical or Electrical field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot all material handling equipment and components.
• Ability to utilize PLCs for troubleshooting equipment.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Works with minimal supervision to resolve electro-mechanical issues and equipment errors on automated material handling systems and related equipment and perform repair and preventive maintenance.
• Performs on-site set-up, programming, and customer training.
• Completes detailed reports and other paperwork.
• Follows up on completed work with customers and other departments to ensure resolution.
• Travels up to 75% for up to two weeks at a time.
