Job summary

3 years of related experience preferred; ability to travel internationally; team player and safety-conscious. Hourly rate ranges from $25.00 to $38.00, based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in automotive technician, HVAC system, elevator repair, electrician, building maintenance or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years working in material handling industry preferred but not required.
• Experience with CMMS platform a plus.
• Working knowledge of handheld and power tools and how to use them.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and basic electrical defects.
• Ability to interpret both mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Uses advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
• Diagnoses mechanical and basic electrical problems using technical drawings.
• Minimize downtime and unsafe conditions by performing preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Assist in inventory management and spare parts tracking.
• Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards.
• Must possess a passport along with the ability to travel to Canada and Mexico.
