Job summary

Intellibee is seeking a Project Engineer to program, troubleshoot, and commission automated inspection equipment on-site. You will lead installation and maintenance of automation measuring cells in production and travel up to 85% to North America and some international sites.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to train and support customers, with experience in robot programming and image processing preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical training and experience in relevant engineering environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of technical controls and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Demonstration of a professional attitude and courtesy towards others.
• Willingness to travel/work overtime/work any shift/work weekends.
• Valid Driver's License and Passport.
• Able to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.
• Strong aptitude for continued learning and troubleshooting.
• AutoCAD and 3D design proficiency preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical assemblies, fixturing, tooling, industrial automation preferred.
• Familiarity with building, foundations, electrical specifications preferred.
• Able to read and understand controls drawings preferred.
• Able to read and understand electrical diagrams preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in installation and maintenance of automation measuring cells in production.
• Accept customer voiced concerns and implement solutions coordinating with NEWSTON personnel.
• Support image processing systems, primarily in the automotive industry.
• Provide technical support in demonstration image processing robotics lab.
• Communicate project status to Project Managers and account teams.
• Startup automatic image processing systems at customer sites in North America.
• Determine and execute corrective actions for installation errors in coordination with supervisor.
• Review project for compatibility with existing automated systems.
• Communicate customer changes to supplier engineering.
• Complete administrative requirements as required.
• Other duties as required.
