Job summary

Pieper Automation seeks Automation Service Engineers of all levels to diagnose, troubleshoot, program, commission, and optimize industrial automation throughout Wisconsin, including New Berlin and Wrightstown. You will partner directly with customers to keep operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

As you grow from Engineer I to Senior Engineer, you will design, program, mentor, and lead projects while collaborating with internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Strong safety mindset and personal integrity.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize automation and control systems on site.
• Program, commission, and modify PLCs and HMIs.
• Perform system upgrades and preventative maintenance.
• Support start-ups, commissioning, and operational improvements.
• Document service reports and recommendations.
• Ensure safety and zero-incident culture on site.
