Job summary
Intralox L.L.C. is seeking an Automation Specialist– Lifecycle Services to provide on-site technical support, lead equipment installation and commissioning, and collaborate with subcontractors to install and upgrade conveyor systems at customer facilities.
The role requires strong electrical/mechanical skills, PLC/HMI configuration, and frequent travel. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, read electrical drawings, and be comfortable performing field
Qualifications
- Two years of providing technical support at client sites, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment.
- Ability to configure PLCs and HMIs and to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Willingness to travel 40–65% and perform field work.
- Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Studio 5000.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support at client sites for new and existing systems.
- Lead field installation and commissioning of equipment.
- Support subcontractors during installation at customer facilities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment remotely.
- Available for periodic on-call duties.
- Develop and implement controls upgrades on existing systems.
- Produce troubleshooting instructions and training material.
- Lead training and repair/adjustment of control systems.
- Perform factory acceptance tests with Test Engineering Group.
