Tecan is seeking a Field Automation Specialist to provide field-based technical support for liquid handling automation platforms. This role includes installation, integration, and software development using Evoware and Fluent at customer sites, with heavy customer interaction and problem-solving in a dynamic, international environment.

The candidate will travel up to 60% and collaborate with Field Automation Engineers, Sales, and internal teams to ensure instrument reliability and customer

Qualifications

• BS degree in Life Science or Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of lab experience with Evoware, Fluent, Magellan and other Tecan software.
• 3+ years robotics/automation experience and writing scripts.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Install, develop and implement applications, integrations, mechanical service, and customer training on Tecan platforms including EVO/Fluent.
• Install instruments and integrate third-party devices; develop software using Evoware and Fluent scripts.
• Perform instrument maintenance, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Develop software applications and device integrations at customer sites.
• Provide training on use, maintenance and troubleshooting; share fixes with the FAE Team.
• Demonstrate complex capability and complete installations.
