Job summary

Keystone Clearwater Solutions, LLC. in Wheeling, WV is seeking a Field Service Technician – Automation & Controls to support our automated water transfer systems in the field.

This hands-on role installs and maintains sensors, troubleshoots electronics, configures devices, and conducts on-site testing at remote customer sites. This position splits time between field work and shop-based equipment repairs, reporting to the Manager of Automated Operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year oil & gas or relevant industrial experience.
• Experience with electrical wiring, electronics, or instrumentation.
• Familiarity with multimeters, computers, and basic networking.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally and overnight as required.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and rig down automation equipment on site.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on sensors, valves, and controls.
• Use hand tools, diagnostic gear, and software to configure and test systems.
• Respond to field service calls and troubleshoot real-time issues.
• Interact with clients and represent the company professionally onsite.
• Complete daily reporting and safety documentation.
