Job summary

Amazon is seeking an on-site Controls Integration Engineer to support deployment, integration, and commissioning of automated material handling equipment. This early-career role offers mentorship from Sr Controls Integration Engineers while you develop field commissioning expertise on IPCs, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.

You will work alongside technicians and contractors, perform I/O checks, document results, and contribute to turnover activities ensuring systems are ready for operational

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
• Experience with Linux/Unix.

Responsibilities

• On-site deployment, commissioning support for sorters, conveyors and work cells.
• Troubleshoot device- and subsystem-level issues; document symptoms and steps.
• Coordinate with technicians during installation; follow safety and commissioning procedures.
• Support integration testing between field devices, PLCs and higher-level control systems.
