Job summary
Diversified Energy Company seeks an Automation Control Specialist to design, maintain, and optimize control and automation systems for gas processing and operations. The role collaborates with IT/SCADA, field technicians, and operations experts to ensure safe, efficient production and reliable instrumentation.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical or Associates degree in Industrial Automation is preferred.
- At least six years in Industrial Automation with PLC/SCADA knowledge.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Experience with industrial control systems and field instrumentation.
- Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.
Responsibilities
- Program and validate PLC/EFM/RTU based control systems for safe, efficient operations.
- Implement HMIs and control programs to support operational changes.
- Investigate failures to diagnose root cause and take corrective actions.
- Provide mentoring to technicians and staff development.
- Coordinate with engineering for system integration and safety improvements.
- Scope, budget and execute small automation capital projects.
