Job summary

Diversified Energy Company is seeking an Automation Control Specialist to design, maintain, and implement control systems for Production and Processing of natural gas and NGL facilities. The role is based in Pikeville, KY, with field operations across major U.S. regions.

You will program PLC/EFM/RTU systems, update HMIs, diagnose issues, and support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Strong PLC/SCADA and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical/Associates in Industrial Automation or Process Controls preferred.
• 6+ years in Industrial Automation with PLC/SCADA knowledge.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Experience with industrial process automation and control equipment.

Responsibilities

• Program and validate PLC/EFM/RTU based control systems for safe, efficient operations.
• Update HMIs and control programs to support operational changes.
• Diagnose failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus/TCP, HART).
• Lead installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of automation projects.
• Mentor technicians and support capital project teams.
