Job summary

Exo Group, LLC is seeking a Field Associate, Lighting Inspection to join our nationwide team. This travel-intensive role (up to 90%+) supports inspections at retail centers, parking lots, and commercial properties, performing NDT-based tests and remediation work on lighting assets.

You will gain paid training in nondestructive testing methods and remediation techniques, work independently in field environments, and collaborate with project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding, construction, manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
• Willingness to learn NDT methods and lighting structure inspection techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Ability to work independently in field environments.
• Comfortable with extensive travel (minimum 90%).
• Basic understanding of structural materials, corrosion, or construction practices is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retail Lighting Inspections: perform VT and MT inspections on lighting structures at retail centers.
• Structural Assessment: evaluate pole condition, corrosion, cracking, foundation deterioration.
• Asset Remediation: perform field actions, apply coatings to extend life.
• Travel & Field Work: travel 90%+ to job sites nationwide.
• Safety Compliance: follow safety standards and recommend repairs.
• Documentation & Reporting: capture data and photos; prepare reports.
• Collaboration: communicate results with teams and clients.
• Continuous Improvement: provide feedback to improve processes.
