Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Field Assistant I to support construction management on site in Utah. You will help with walk-throughs, site presentation, material handling, and daily logs while maintaining clean, safe job sites.

Ideal candidates have a GED/HS diploma, up to six months of experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel among communities is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Zero to six months of related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel among communities.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist construction management in daily procedures for the community.
• Oversee and detail homes for walk-throughs and site cleanliness.
• Load and deliver materials to job sites as needed.
• Set up and take down temporary structures.
• Maintain daily log of job site occurrences.
• Support customer service with post-construction repairs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and move materials as required.
• Cross-train in other areas and follow safety policies.
