Job summary

Town of Gilbert is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to verify GIS, LUCITY, and infrastructure records against field conditions and resolve discrepancies. The role includes reviewing capital plans, performing GPS field verification, and supporting SOP development.

You will translate field findings back into the systems used by teams across departments. Ideal candidates have experience reading drawings/as-builts, CMMS proficiency, and a willingness to obtain a Drone license within a year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience reading record drawings/as-builts.
• 3 years of CMMS experience.
• ADEQ certification: Water Distribution Grade 3 and/or Wastewater Collections Grade 3 or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a Part 107 Drone License within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Verify and correct GIS, LUCITY, and infrastructure records against field conditions.
• Investigate discrepancies between mapped records and actual field installations.
• Review Capital Improvement Project and Developmental Services plans for conflicts.
• Conduct field verification using GPS to identify Town infrastructure.
• Support SOP development and act as backup for Water Distribution Supervisor.
• Pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
