Job summary

DataWalk, Inc. is seeking a Field Architect to shape and implement mission-critical projects. You will provide in-depth technical, data modeling, and analysis expertise to design effective solutions and communicate them to stakeholders.

This role offers remote work with up to 15% travel, opportunities to evangelize DataWalk at top management levels, and oversight of data collection, storage, and analysis processes while balancing time and cost requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Warehousing, SaaS, AI, or Big Data Analysis.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architect in Data Analytics.
• Advanced data analysis, data cleaning, and data augmentation skills.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes.
• Experience with Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) systems.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active clearance.
• Startup experience (less than 100 people).

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale graph analytics solutions.
• Explore system usage in pre- and post-sales scenarios.
• Architect solutions that are fit for purpose and use.
• Act as evangelist and present DataWalk to executives.
• Design data collection, storage, and analysis processes with cost trade-offs.
• Translate strategic goals into concrete deliverables.
• Identify risks and mitigate weaknesses.
• Oversee end-to-end design of modern analytical platforms with graph capabilities.
• Benchmark platform against alternatives.
• Drive continuous improvements and best practices.
