Lone Mountain Archaeological Services, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking archaeological field technicians for ongoing projects in southeastern New Mexico. Responsibilities include pedestrian surveys, site recording, artifact analysis, and mapping.

Candidates should be able to walk long distances (6+ miles/day), carry a backpack, and endure temperatures over 100°F. A valid driver’s license and US citizenship are required.

Formación

• Experience with pedestrian surveys and site recording.
• Ability to endure high temperatures and walk long distances daily.
• GPS experience is a plus; mapping and artifact analysis skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct pedestrian surveys for ongoing projects in SE New Mexico.
• Record site data, analyze artifacts, and perform mapping.
• Work schedule typically 10 days on, four days off; occasional overtime.
