Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc. is seeking Archaeological Technicians for part-time contract employment based out of our Davis, California office to support upcoming fieldwork.

This temporary staffing pool role offers variable hours, outdoor work, and compensation ranging from $24.50 to $28.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.

No guaranteed hours; candidates must be able to dispatch from Davis and comply with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in anthropology/archaeology or related field is required.
• An accredited field school or CRM field experience in California or Nevada is required.
• Detail-oriented with ability to adapt to varying data collection needs and field methods.
• Willingness to learn and refine skills on-the-job is essential.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and Native American representatives.
• Must comply with Far Western’s Safety Program and training protocols.
• Dispatch from the Davis, CA office when required.
