Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. is seeking entry-level archaeologists to support environmental planning projects across Ohio and surrounding states. You will conduct archaeological fieldwork from site identification through data recovery, including shovel testing, pedestrian surveys, excavation, and site documentation.

The role is project-based, on-call, and part-time-as-needed, with a hybrid work structure. Field work will be the priority (90–100%), with travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in anthropology/archaeology.
• 1-2 years of experience in cultural resources management.
• Demonstrated field experience within Ohio or surrounding states.
• Working knowledge of GPS systems and field data collection.

Responsibilities

• Conduct archaeological fieldwork from site identification to data recovery.
• Support environmental planning projects across Ohio and nearby states.
• Perform shovel testing, pedestrian surveys, excavation, and site documentation.
• Travel to project sites, with overnight travel as required.
