A bachelor's degree in archaeology/anthropology/architectural history and field experience are required, along with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Architectural History, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of three months of field experience (survey, testing, and data recovery).
• Requires experience identifying and recording prehistoric resources.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform archaeological field work, lab work, or GIS tasks under supervision.
• Excavate shovel test pits, units, and block excavations.
• Document sites, identify features and artifacts, and map findings.
• Travel as required and operate GPS equipment.
• Work hours may include weekends or night shifts, in adverse conditions.
