Job summary

York Archaeology is seeking Project Archaeologists (Fieldwork) for fixed-term field projects across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Gloucestershire and Rotherham. Successful applicants will join a team delivering commercial archaeological services with opportunities for extension beyond the initial 3 months.

A degree in archaeology and practical field experience are required; a full UK driving licence is advantageous; Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required.

Qualifications

• A degree in archaeology or related discipline and an appropriate level of demonstrable experience
• Minimum 6 months experience within commercial fieldwork, successful completion of an existing training scheme, or demonstrable equivalent experience
