ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Utility Arborist to conduct field patrols, assess vegetation needs around energy corridors, and engage with landowners and agencies. You will apply ISA pruning techniques, document findings, and ensure compliance with client standards.

You will work outdoors in varying conditions, utilize GIS and MS Office tools, and participate in ongoing training and certifications. A company vehicle and benefits accompany this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline.
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification.
• Knowledge of common computer applications and ability to learn new programs.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Experience with GIS software/technology, Microsoft Suite and an iPhone.
• Able to work outdoors alone in various weather; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Patrol Preparation: organize records and review sites for endangered species and habitats.
• Field Patrol Duties: safely patrol energy corridors and identify vegetation actions per standards.
• Landowner & Stakeholder Engagement: communicate plans and obtain permissions.
• Vegetation Management & Compliance: recommend IVM strategies and audit work.
• Coordination & Safety: coordinate with stakeholders; follow safety protocols.
