Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. in New Holland, OH is seeking a Full-Time Custom Applicator to apply crop protection, fertilizer, and lime safely and accurately on labeled crops across our Ohio locations.

You will operate and maintain application equipment, follow safety rules, obtain and maintain state commercial applicator certification, and support field operations by assisting with mixing, loading, and transporting products. The role emphasizes teamwork and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of application experience
• Valid driver’s license; must meet a Motor Vehicle Review per Company policy.
• Must obtain and maintain required state commercial applicator certification.
• Minimum of an Ag CDL.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality application of crop protection, fertilizer products and lime to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Utilize information and equipment technology to ensure correct products at right rates are applied and billed to fields and customers.
• Assist in mixing, loading, unloading, and transporting of crop protection and fertilizer products.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules (including PPE) in handling and applying products and storing chemicals.
• Performs daily inspection of equipment prior to field applications and post application inspections.
• Maintains safety equipment and logs; follows safety regulations and guidelines.
• Performs calibration and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Comply with regulatory guidelines in tank mixing, rinsing, and washing.
• Assist other team members in physical duties at the location.
• Assist with scouting, product transportation and services for customers.
• Follow OSHA and DOT policies and procedures.
• May serve as the location Safety Coordinator.
