Job summary

AgVantage FS seeks a dedicated Custom Applicator to join our team in Alexander, IA. This role involves applying crop inputs in accordance with label directions and recommended rates, while maintaining precise records of all applications and equipment setup for blending and delivery of products.

You will work in a high-noise, variable-weather environment and must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, possess a High School Diploma, and obtain required pesticide/fertilizer licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain applicable pesticide/fertilizer licenses.
• Willingness to work in variable weather and noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Applies crop production inputs to fields per recommended rates and pesticide labels.
• Records application data according to regulations and standards.
• Sets up material handling, blending, storage, transport and application equipment for delivery of products.
• Blends products according to recommended rates and procedures.
• Views training video and follows safety protocols while performing duties.
