Job summary

Emerson seeks a Field Applications Engineer to support key customers in the Seattle, Washington area. This role balances customer engagement with technical leadership and cross-team collaboration to drive co-authored technical objectives and long-term NI success.

The position offers a base salary with 20% variable pay based on sales objectives and account revenue, with travel up to 25% including Austin, TX. Candidates should have a STEM degree and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
• 5 years of Test and Measurement industry experience.
• 3 years of software programming experience.
• Willing and able to travel – Regionally and to Austin, TX up to 25%.
• Only U.S. Persons may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build key technical relationships at top accounts.
• Understand and assist in creation of customer technical requirements.
• Provide recommendations on software/hardware architectures for test systems.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to lead technical strategy.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute account initiatives.
• Leverage industry knowledge to uncover future customer needs.
