Job summary

Nidec America Corporation is seeking a technically minded and customer-focused Field Applications Engineer to support customers, sales teams, and channel partners across an assigned territory. In this role, you will serve as a technical resource for a defined product portfolio, providing application support, product expertise, customer training, and sales support throughout the customer lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
0–3 years of engineering, applications engineering, technical sales support, or related experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to travel within assigned territory as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for assigned products across a defined territory.
Assist customers with product selection, installation considerations, and troubleshooting activities.
Support both internal and external customers through phone, email, virtual meetings, and on-site visits.
Develop deep expertise in assigned products, applications, and market segments.
