Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Field Application Engineer in SLT (System Level Testing) to develop imaginative test solutions for Digital, High-Speed Digital, SoC, Mixed Signal and Analog devices. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to optimize test workflows and capabilities.

You will engage in software and hardware interface considerations, train users, and present findings. A BS/BE in engineering is required with travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or related fields
• 5–8 years of semiconductor testing experience and hands-on IC test development
• Experience with SLT, functional testing, and system-level debugging
• Development experience on Teradyne or other semiconductor SLT/ATE platforms

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug and deployment of test solutions on SLT for Digital, High‑Speed Digital, SoC, Mixed Signal and Analog devices
• Analyze problems and recommend solutions on Teradyne SLT platform to optimize customer throughput
• Assist customers on tester operation and capability
• Develop strong customer relations and document technical exchanges
