The primary end markets for the company's products include communications and information processing, such as data/telecom, hyper-scaler data centers, enterprise server/storage, consumer devices, telecom networks, networking hardware, industrial, and automotive applications.

Position Summary: Field Applications Engineer (FAE)

Location: Seattle, WA

We are currently seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support our Tier 1 Data Center clients. The position will be based in the Seattle, WA area.

Responsibilities:

We value our relationships with these companies, and we depend on our Sales and Field Applications Engineering Teams to foster these ongoing business partnerships.

The FAE engineering team interfaces with customers, internal product development, product marketing, and the extended sales team to provide world-class interconnect solutions to our customers.

1. Act as an engineering resource on the sales team to lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle, including discovery, design, prototyping, and production.
2. Provide technical marketing support for the development and design-in of commercial products, including internal/external power, memory, storage, and internal I/O.
3. Prepare and participate in technical presentations, including 3D-CAD modeling and manipulation.
4. Develop customer-facing material that is application-specific.
5. Provide customer support for all technical inquiries and develop product solutions to address customer concerns.
6. Help devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from competitors.
7. Meet and exceed strategic objectives.
8. Some travel will be required.

Education/Experience:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or other technical equivalent, such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2. 2-10+ years of experience in Design or Applications Engineering of electrical hardware components/interconnect solutions industry.
3. Experience providing product marketing and technical support to produce design wins.
4. Strong preference for experience with Power interconnect and Power architecture applications.

Skills:

1. Proficient in communicating across organizational hierarchies.
2. High level of customer service and ability to build rapport with customers.
3. Self-motivated and assertive.
4. Proficient in modeling tools such as Creo or SolidWorks.
