Omron Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer to support pre-sale and post-sale activity in the Minnesota region.

You will engage in presales meetings, provide post-sale support for installations, and lead technical training sessions for customers and distributors. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience with motion control, PLC/HMI, sensors, safety, machine vision, Auto ID, and robotics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience with Motion Control, PLC/HMI, Sensors, Safety, Machine Vision, Auto ID, and Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Presales customer/ System Integrator meetings for higher complexity solutions.
• Post-sales support including machine start-up and troubleshooting.
• Lead customer and distributor technical training sessions.
• Site survey and development of project requirements.
• Development of BOM for complex automation projects.
