• BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• In-plant operations experience highly desired.
• Knowledge of design, materials, and operations of mechanical seals and rotating equipment.
• Strong customer focus and professional image.

• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate and savvy.
• Local travel using personal vehicle and some overnight travel required.
• Some physical activity required (e.g., walking on large sites, stairs).
• Must meet medical/physical requirements and possess credentials for site access (e.g., TWIC, background check).

Responsibilities

• Communicate customer needs to Flowserve and be the primary source of information on design, installation, operation, and maintenance of pumps and seals.
• Act as liaison between customers and Flowserve teams (sales, reliability, customer service, manufacturing).
• Troubleshoot problems at customer sites and at Flowserve Repair Center.
• Prepare reports such as failure analyses and product performance reports.
• Evaluate data to support improvement, replacement, or repair recommendations.
• Present technical explanations tailored to the audience.
• Guide installation and operation per standardized procedures.
• Maintain inventory and data in engineering systems; process changes and corrective actions.
• Provide technical training to customers as needed.
