Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Weld Engineering, Robotic/Automation or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience in related surface treatment applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic, occasional international).
• Proactive, collaborative problem-solver in fast-paced, technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site application evaluations with business development (approximately 30% travel) to understand customer challenges and identify automation opportunities.
• Use the scientific method to plan, execute, and communicate results of feasibility, optimization, and qualification studies.
• Generate system specifications and configurations of systems to meet customer needs.
• Support system commissioning, training, testing, and troubleshooting both in-house and at customer facilities.
• Execute verification and validation testing for robotic systems to ensure performance specifications.
• Provide feedback to engineering and product development teams to improve system performance and usability.
