Job summary

Sunway Communication is seeking a dynamic Field Application Engineer to engage with customers in the Bay Area, resolve mechanical barriers in precision metal stamping parts, and collaborate with our China factory engineering team to close design gaps.

You will lead technical discussions on DFM, work with customers' design teams, and coordinate internal resources to meet project deadlines while supporting key accounts with technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Mandarin and English proficiency.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or above.

Responsibilities

• Take lead in technical discussions related to DFM (design for manufacturing) with customers.
• Work closely with customer's product design team to solve mechanical issues.
• Lead communication between internal engineering and project management to meet build deadlines.
• Assist Key Account Managers in resolving technical issues.
• Attend active meetings with customers regarding project status, design and engineering issues, and future opportunities.
