Super Micro Computer in Richmond, VA seeks a Field Application Engineer to grow revenue, lead pre-sales efforts, and bridge customer needs with technical solutions. You will coordinate with sales and engineering teams to design and present optimized systems, including data center hardware and liquid cooling.
The ideal candidate has a data center background, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure while traveling up to 25% to support customers and projects.

The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will be part of a growing, dynamic, highly-focused team responsible for developing new or existing opportunities in the global IT market. The FAE will be required to work with customers, manage projects hand in hand with internal and external teams, and help grow the business whenever possible. Customer and solution focus, are two key factors for this position, as well as business continuity and support. The FAE must work with multiple departments to ensure new projects and existing projects are initiated or maintained towards customer requirements.

$105,000 - $110,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
