Job summary

Keystone is seeking a Custom Applicator to apply crop protection and fertilizer products safely and accurately across varied fields. You will operate and maintain application equipment, build customer relations, and provide field condition feedback to the location manager.

Responsibilities include loading and calibrating machinery, ensuring right rates and maps are followed, keeping logs current, and adhering to safety requirements. Overtime may be required during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MV policy.
• Must obtain and maintain state commercial applicator certification.
• May be asked to obtain and maintain an Ag CDL.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality application of dry fertilizer products and lime to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Utilize information and application equipment tech to apply right products at right rates.
• Assist in mixing, loading, unloading, and transporting crop protection and fertilizer products.
• Follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules including PPE.
• Maintain state commercial applicator certification and stay current with requirements.
• Inspect equipment daily before field applications and after.
• Keep safety equipment in good condition and logs up to date.
• Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Rinse and wash down per regulatory guidelines in field and location.
• Assist team with physical duties to run the location.
• Assist with scouting, product transportation and services for customers.
• Follow OSHA and DOT policies as applicable.
