The Role

With their very first product launch imminent, we're looking for a commercially-minded field applications professional to lead the pre and post sales support efforts of a disruptive multiplex precision genomic system, across the east coast; spanning Boston south to the Mid Atlantic region).

If you have experience supporting new genomic technologies, particularly in instrumentation and consumables, and you're excited by the challenge of driving new technology adoption, we'd LOVE to meet you. Experience and networks supporting biopharma, especially with gene therapy, rare disease or oncology applications, is highly attractive!

You'll report directly to the Chief Business Officer, in a highly visible and empowered position in the company, with the view of progressing into a FAS Team Lead function. Oh, and not to mention competitive compensation and generous 'skin in the game' stock options!

The Skills You’ll Possess

  • A doctorate degree in biology, molecular biology, genetics, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5+ years of field application experience supporting the pre and post-sales adoption of novel genomic instrumentation & consumables - strong preference for Digital PCR related technologies.
  • Comfort using SFDC or a similar CRM.
  • A proven track record of supporting biotech/biopharma customers with complex genomic instrumentation demos and application presentations.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50% (including occasional overnight trips across east coast).
