Job summary

Spear Bio Inc. in Woburn, MA is seeking a Team Lead for Field Application Support to grow and lead the FAS team, delivering personalized customer training, workflow demonstrations, and on-site and remote support.

You will develop deep technical expertise in SPEAR UltraDetect immunoassay platform, manage a travel-heavy role (~30%), and collaborate with Product Management to drive adoption and customer success.

Qualifications

• PhD in biology-related field and demonstrated expertise in immunoassays.
• 4+ years leading Field Application Scientists or similar teams with coaching.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience with protein biomarker analysis and immunoassay troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Expand and lead training for external customers and partners on SPEAR UltraDetect workflows.
• Drive adoption of the SPEAR platform through onboarding and on-site demos.
• Coordinate client sample testing, data generation, and presentation of results.
• Collaborate to develop new applications and create technical collateral.
• Improve troubleshooting processes and provide feedback for product improvement.
• Track customer inquiries and guide continuous improvement of support.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and product applications.
• Partner with Product Management for VOC feedback and strategy.
