Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support RTL Design and PowerPro. You will engage with semiconductor customers, deliver demos and workshops, and lead evaluations to drive business wins.

The role involves collaboration with sales, R&D, and product teams across multiple Bay Area and California locations. The ideal candidate has RTL design experience, scripting skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in EE, CS or related field.
• RTL design experience is required.
• Experience with RTL power analysis and optimization.
• Scripting skills in Tcl and Python.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-facing experience (FAE/AE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needs.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops.
• Lead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business wins.
• Support deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and training.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to influence product enhancements.
