Job summary

Siemens EDA, a global leader in semiconductor design software, is seeking a customer-focused Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support its PowerPro platform for RTL and gate-level power analysis and optimization.

You will partner with customers and sales, deliver demonstrations and workshops, and drive evaluations to create business wins. The role includes hybrid work with up to 20% travel and close collaboration with R&D and product teams.

Qualifications

• Strong RTL design experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL.
• Knowledge of digital design, STA, synthesis and verification flows.
• Understanding of coding styles for synthesis and simulation.
• Experience with RTL power analysis and optimization methodologies.
• Scripting skills in Tcl and Python.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• BS/MS in EE, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years of RTL (ASIC/FPGA) design is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needs.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops.
• Lead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business wins.
• Support deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and training.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to influence product enhancements.
