Qualifications

• Experience with deterministic real-time Ethernet such as TSN and EtherCAT.

This position focuses on helping customers who are developing Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), humanoids, and drones to deploy leading networking and communication technologies. The role is centered on architecture design, proof-of-concept development, network optimization, and system-level robotics integration.Key Responsibilities* Lead technical customer engagements for robotics networking solutions.* Design and support Ethernet-based robotic architectures, including zonal and microzonal topologies.* Conduct board bring-up, performance testing, and hands-on debugging.* Support the implementation of TSN, EtherCAT, Single-Pair Ethernet, and PoDL.* Build and deliver proof-of-concept demonstrations using evaluation kits and reference designs.* Provide architecture guidance across the full robotics system, including compute, perception, and motor control.* Lead technical training for customers through webinars, workshops, and deep-dive sessions.Required Qualifications**Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.**Experience:** 10+ years in embedded systems development or applications support with networking, switch, or SoC platforms, with demonstrated technical leadership.**Technical Skills:*** System-level understanding of robotics platforms (AMRs, drones, humanoids).* Proficiency in C/C++ programming and debugging with ARM microcontrollers.* Strong knowledge of Ethernet switching, PHYs, MAC/PHY/DMA, and networking architectures.* Experience with deterministic real-time Ethernet such as TSN and EtherCAT.* Knowledge of Single Pair Ethernet (BASE-T1, 10BASE-T1S).* Strong embedded networking troubleshooting and lab validation skills.* Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.Preferred Qualifications* Experience with robotics, particularly AMRs or drones.* Knowledge of CAN networking technologies (CAN FD, CAN SIC, CAN XL).* Familiarity with RTOS platforms (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, NuttX), embedded Linux networking, and middleware (ROS 2, DDS).* Familiarity with SerDes interfaces and PCIe.* Knowledge of functional safety (IEC 61508, ISO 13849) and cybersecurity (IEC 62443). *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
