Field Application Engineer – Automotive Platform & ADAS

Job description

• Act as the on-site/field technical liaison for platform software issues with OEM customers across the USA


• Analyze and troubleshoot system problems in the field, including Ethernet, sensor connectivity, software updates, and vehicle communication


• Collaborate with Mobileye software teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve field-reported issues


• Provide hands‑on platform expertise during customer bring‑up, integration, and validation activities


• Support the development of innovative automotive products, including autonomous vehicles

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system debugging/testing in the automotive industry


• Knowledge of vehicle topology and ECU system architecture


• Strong skills in Ethernet communication, CANFD, ETH, SOMEIP, and tools like CANoe


• Strong experience in Ethernet communication and service-oriented architecture


• Willing to relocate to USA for customer/field engagements


• Proficient in English


• Preferred: 5-7 years of experience in automotive system/SW/validation, preferably with ADAS products


• Preferred: Experience with multi-SOC ECUs, AUTOSAR, and network management


• Preferred: Advanced debugging skills for field issues
