Job summary

PennEngineering is seeking a Field Application Engineer in Michigan to support customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role focuses on applying engineering principles to design fasteners, coordinating testing, and delivering CAD drawings in Creo.

Occasional travel is required to automotive and related sectors. You will serve as the voice of the customer, drive product improvements, and work with Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing to ensure optimal solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Independently apply engineering principles to mechanical problem solving.
• Act as the voice of the customer for assigned accounts and manage long-term, data-driven projects.
• Develop new fastener applications and adoptions.
• Create CAD drawings in Creo and review designs with engineering for approval.
• Coordinate testing/specs with customers and internal teams.
