Job summary

Concurrent Technologies Plc in the United States is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our team. You will interface with customers, project managers, and engineering teams to define and use our VPX-based solutions and ruggedized systems.

You will lead a small team of application engineers, deliver face-to-face technical support, and travel to customer sites on short notice. This office-based role requires commercial awareness and customer focus.

The Role

Reporting into the Technical Support Director, as a Field Application Engineer, you will be interfacing with our customers, project managers, and their engineering teams to assist in the definition and use of our solutions such as our single-board computers or systems.

You will also act as a team leader working closely with other application engineers to ensure that prompt and proper technical support is provided to our customers.

This is a fast-paced role where it is critical to be commercially aware as well as customer focused and will be an office-based role with travel to customer sites at short notice.

This role will consist of two major functions:

• Face-to-face customer support acting as a technical expert.
• Team leader to help strengthen the team in our US office.
