About the Role:

The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will serve as the technical expert for a portfolio of industrial instrumentation and automation products. Working closely with sales teams, customers, and manufacturer partners, you will support product growth, application development, technical training, and customer solution design.

Responsibilities:

• Drive growth and adoption of assigned product lines.
• Support sales teams with technical expertise and customer-facing engagements.
• Build and maintain relationships with key manufacturer partners.
• Deliver product demonstrations, training, and application support.
• Identify market opportunities and help develop go-to-market strategies.
• Assist customers with product selection and technical solutions.
• Participate in supplier meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years' experience with industrial automation, instrumentation, sensors, or controls.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen.
• Experience supporting customers and sales teams in a technical capacity.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Sensors, RFID, Machine Vision, Safety, LiDAR, Pressure, Flow, Level, and Temperature technologies.
• Industrial markets including manufacturing, food & beverage, oil & gas, water/wastewater, power, and chemical processing.
• Experience with major automation and instrumentation manufacturers.
• Familiarity with CRM/ERP platforms such as Salesforce, Epicor, or Microsoft CRM.
