Job summary

Anritsu Company is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support RF and Microwave test and measurement products across the Southwest and Mountain States and surrounding areas.

The role covers demonstrations and customer training on VNA, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators, with travel across Northern California and the Northwest United States. You will report to the Field Applications Engineering Manager in Dallas, Texas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of related industry experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required for customer visits.
  • Extensive RF and Microwave test and measurement background.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Vector Network Analyzers and applications.
  • Train customers and Sales in theory and operation.
  • Demonstrate Spectrum and Signal Analyzers and applications.
  • Train customers and Sales in theory and operation of analyzers.
  • Demonstrate Signal Generators, Power Meters, monitors and applications.
  • Train customers and Sales in theory and operation of generators/meters.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales support, including on-site and remote.
  • Report to the Field Applications Engineering Manager in Dallas, TX.

As a Field Application Engineer based in the Southwest or Mountain States (or surrounding area) you will have responsibility for pre and post-sales support for RF and Microwave test and measurement products.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstration of Vector Network Analyzers and associated applications
  • Customer and Sales training in theory and operation of Vector Network Analyzers.
  • Demonstration of Spectrum and Signal Analyzers and associated applications.
  • Customer and Sales training in theory and operation of Spectrum and Signal Analyzers.
  • Demonstration of Signal Generators, Power Meters, signal monitors and associated applications.
  • Customer and Sales training in theory and operation of Signal Generators, Power Meters, signal monitors and associated applications.
  • Pre-sales and Post-sales support for customer applications including on-site and remote support.
  • Reporting to the Field Applications Engineering Manager based in Dallas, Texas

Requirements :

  • Minimum BSEE or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years related industry experience.
  • Due to customer visits, the candidate must be a U.S Citizen.
  • Extensive background in RF and Microwave test and measurement.
  • Expertise in the use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters.
  • Experience with digital modulation and physical layer test of wireless systems is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel. Territory to include Northern California and Northwest United States

The annual base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $204,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
