Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support the sales organization across the Greater Boston area, with occasional national support for the robotics division. The role requires building strong customer relationships and maintaining executive presence while collaborating with sales and engineering teams.

You will provide pre- and post-sales support, act as a technical liaison to robotics and OEM accounts, and participate in sales calls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5+ years' experience in industrial automation.
• Experience with sensors, measurement, controls, I/O, or adjacent applications.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% regionally, with occasional national travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales support for customers.

• Attend sales calls alongside the commercial team.
• Promote and deliver training on new products to target customers.

About the Role
