In this role, you will act as a technical partner to customers and the regional Sales team, helping identify the right technologies, solve application challenges, and support successful product design-ins from the early concept stage through validation and production. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, R&D, Quality, and other engineering teams to develop customer solutions, support new business opportunities, and share market and application insights. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, power electronics, or related industrial technologies who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and learning across a broad portfolio of protection, sensing, control solutions. A power semiconductor background is considered a strong advantage. The successful candidate will be expected to support multiple Littelfuse technologies and engage with customers at both component and system level. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop a solid understanding of the broader Littelfuse portfolio and support customers in identifying complete system-level solutions incorporating multiple product families.* Provide technical support to customers throughout the application development and design-in process.* Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions, working with internal product and engineering specialists.* Troubleshoot technical issues and support laboratory testing, validation, and investigation of application-related problems.* Partner with Sales to identify technical opportunities and support design wins in strategic customer projects.* Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and product training for customers and distribution partners.* Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and Quality to communicate customer needs and contribute to product and technology development.* Monitor technical opportunities, support customer follow-up, and share application knowledge across the EMEA organization.* Travel across EMEA to support customer projects, technical meetings, and training activities. **About You:** * Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.* At least 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience in Field Application Engineering, Application Engineering, Design Engineering, or a similar technical role.* The FAE serves as a primary technical interface between Littelfuse and customers, helping translate application challenges into system-level solutions by leveraging the full range of Littelfuse technologies and expertise.* Experience with power semiconductors is considered a strong advantage. Equivalent experience in power electronics, industrial automation, protection, sensing, or related application areas will also be considered* Ability to understand system architecture, technical specifications, and customer application requirements.* Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and support a broad range of technologies.* Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to technical troubleshooting and validation.* Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both engineering and commercial audiences.* Customer-oriented mindset and willingness to work closely with customers and Sales teams. Candidates coming from design engineering must be comfortable in a customer-facing role.* Fluent English; German & Italian is an advantage.* Willingness to travel approximately 50-60% across EMEA.For this position, we offer a gross annual base salary of approximately €60,000 to €75,000 + bonus.
