Job summary

The API Inspectors will perform field-based mechanical integrity assessments of pressure vessels, piping, and tanks, with emphasis on API 510/570/653 and related standards. The role requires active API certifications, TWIC/DISA access, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Active API certifications (510/570/653) or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA and site access credentials.
• Strong written and verbal communication; field reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal, external, and on-stream inspections per codes (API, ASME, NBIC).
• Prepare inspection reports, data sheets, and isometrics.
• Recommend inspection intervals and track corrosion monitoring points.
• Identify and report mechanical/structural deficiencies with repair recommendations.
