Job summary

TEAM, Inc. seeks experienced and certified API Inspectors to perform mechanical integrity inspections on pressure vessels, piping, and aboveground storage tanks in field environments across industrial facilities in New Jersey and beyond.

You will hold active API certifications (510/570/653) and related credentials (AWS CWI, AMPP, NBIC). The role requires travel, strict safety adherence, detailed reporting, and collaboration with clients, engineers, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Active API certifications in at least one: API 510, 570 or 653.
• Familiarity with RBI, IDMS platforms, and digital inspection tools.
• Must hold TWIC and OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certifications.
• Willingness to travel and perform in-field inspections across sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal, external, and on-stream inspections in accordance with codes (API, ASME, NBIC) and client programs.
• Prepare and review isometric drawings, repair plans, inspection reports, and data sheets.
• Recommend and track inspection intervals and corrosion monitoring points.
• Identify deficiencies and provide repair or fitness-for-service evaluations.
• Interface with client representatives, engineers, and maintenance personnel to ensure scope and deliverables.
• Utilize digital tools and data management systems to track asset health and inspection histories.
• Coordinate with NDT technicians and support personnel as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Adhere to Life Critical Expectations and site safety protocols.
• Uphold industry codes and TEAM’s standards of professionalism and quality.
