Job summary

Gulfstream is seeking a Field Airborne Support Tech to support the West Coast region from California. You will be on-call with on-site or dispatch within two hours for AOG aircraft and perform avionics maintenance as part of the Customer Support organization.

Required are 6 years of aviation maintenance experience, an A&P license, and the ability to travel up to 100% of the time; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
• A&P license required; valid driver’s license; passport ability.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call with ability to be on-site or dispatched within two hours.
• Communicate with customer, scheduling, flight crews, Ops, vendors, and others.
• Perform required AOG maintenance and service of aircraft systems.
• Repair, maintain and troubleshoot aircraft components within CMP time.
• Coordinate inspections to ensure FAA compliance.
