Job summary

Jet Access is hiring an AOG Maintenance Technician to support mobile maintenance across the country. You will respond to AOG calls, travel to locations nationwide, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues, and perform field repairs following FAA regulations.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in corporate aviation, a valid A&P certificate, and readiness to travel extensively. A base at Indianapolis or Gallatin is possible with field deployments.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience in corporate or general aviation.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems under pressure.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, maintenance drawings, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations including Parts 43, 91, and 135, and maintenance documentation requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven client service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate company vehicles.
• Current passport or ability to obtain one for potential international travel.
• Must pass required background checks and pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Respond rapidly to AOG calls and mobile maintenance requests during assigned shifts.
• Travel nationwide to provide on-site maintenance support for grounded aircraft.
• Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues.
• Execute necessary repairs and maintenance tasks in the field with precision, adhering to FAA regulations.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control to ensure documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Maintain and manage assigned tools, equipment, and company vehicle for rapid deployment.
