Job summary

Realm Alliance is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to be the technical lead for customer integrations, on-site deployments, and translating real-world needs into scalable solutions. You will work directly with customer systems, prototype tools quickly, and ensure deployments meet demanding industrial and government environment constraints.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering or forward deployed experience.

Responsibilities

• Spend ~25% onsite with customers across the US.
• Shadow operators to understand workflows and integration requirements.
• Prototype tools in the field to validate ideas and feasibility.
• Troubleshoot field deployments in varied environments.
• Translate field insights into technical requirements for engineering.
• Lead all technical integration work including APIs, data pipelines, and security.
• Collaborate with engineering to align features with field needs.
• Represent customer realities internally to ensure feasibility.
• Decompose real-world problems into well-scoped technical workstreams.
• Support pre-sales by traveling onsite with prospects to demonstrate product value.
• Contribute to scaling Realm’s forward deployed engineering function.
