Job summary

Eden Prescott is partnering with a leading Physical AI client to hire a Forward Deployed Engineer. You’ll work directly with customers to understand operations, identify high-value problems, and build technical solutions moving from idea to production in real-world settings.

You’ll own integrations across APIs, databases, cloud infrastructures and data environments, using Python, SQL and modern AI tooling to deliver measurable operational value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience across software engineering, data engineering, systems integration, technical consulting, solutions engineering or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, APIs, cloud environments and data integrations.
• Experience owning complex customer-facing technical projects from an ambiguous starting point through production.
• Comfortable operating without a detailed playbook and figuring things out as you go.
• Strong communication skills across engineering teams, executives and operational users.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers to understand workflows, data and bottlenecks.
• Turn ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions and deployment plans.
• Own end-to-end deployments from discovery through integration and production.
• Build integrations across APIs, databases, enterprise apps, cloud infra and data environments.
• Work hands-on with Python, SQL, APIs to solve problems quickly.
• Debug complex issues spanning software, data, infra, and third-party systems.
• Partner with engineering and product to turn learnings into scalable capabilities.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure measurable value.
• Help establish tooling and playbooks for faster future deployments.
